SUMMARU is a mindfulness and meditation app offering breathing exercises, ambient sounds, singing bowl tones, guided timer sessions, and an AI companion called Maru. The app is intended for personal wellness and relaxation purposes only.

SUMMARU is not a medical device or healthcare service. Nothing in the app constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you have a medical or mental health condition, please consult a qualified professional. Do not use SUMMARU as a substitute for professional care.

Maru is an AI companion powered by Anthropic's Claude model. Maru's responses are generated by AI and may not always be accurate, appropriate, or complete. Do not rely on Maru for medical, legal, financial, or emergency advice. In case of emergency, contact the relevant emergency services in your area.

• You may use SUMMARU for personal, non-commercial purposes.
• You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service.
• You may not use the service in any way that violates applicable laws.

We strive to keep SUMMARU available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without prior notice.

All content in SUMMARU — including sounds, music, visual design, and the Maru character — is the property of SUMMARU and may not be reproduced or distributed without permission.

SUMMARU is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free or that any defects will be corrected.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SUMMARU shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
